pseudomonas infection

My husband was in the hospital for 21 days in Nov. He is also on infusion 3 times a day. - $ 160. 00 a week. I don't have spelling right right now, but it is medipinum . We were told he would be on forever. He has had heartmate for 4 yrs. now. He was on destination therapy until this. He is now on transplant list as of 2-3 weeks now. He had blood stream infection in hospital. That was cleared up, but has driveline infection still. It's really been a burden for my husband 3 times a day . Plus daily dressing change it certainly has been a challenge , but we are succeeding . Hoping to keep the infection at bay. What hospital are you going to ? Would like to speak with you. Where are you located ? He was in the hospital for 21 days in Nov. 2015. He had a blood infection and now has to be on infusions 3x a day. . Menapenum and now he was put on another this past week as the first was not working as it was. He is also on the iv indefenatly. The expense is not covered by Medicare and BC Medes bronze. He is feeling ok, but we are hoping to keep the infection at bay. . If you answer this I will respond and maybe we can talk about our situations . Thanks , acura
