Just got the call...
Sat, 11/10/2012 - 6:08PMMy father had his LVAD implanted in August 2012... he was placed on 1A status at NY Pres Columbia two weeks ago.. We just got the call!!!! He is on his way down to NYC as the primary for the new heart... as loved ones know, my heart is both happy and excited for him yet breaking at the same time. Something I have been hoping for him has turned into my worst nightmare in a flash... please pray for my dad. Thanks!!

Mon, 11/12/2012 - 6:33PMUnfortunately, my dad got all the way to a gurney in the OR already given all the anti ummine pills... and after final testing the doctors failed the new heart. He is back home waiting.. with only 8 more days on IA status. If its meant to be it will. if not, i believe the LVAD can assist him until a new heart is found for him.
