LVAD Erectile Dysfunction

Since my LVAD surgery, I have not been able to perform sexually. Has anyone tried ED medications like Viagra (etc...) or Penile Injection medication?

I have been prescribed a drug called Revatio which is another name for Viagra -

I was prescribed Revatio (25mg 3x a day) to help with my lungs & breathing after my Heart Attack but before my LVAD - Once I went on Medcicare - Medicare will not pay for Revatio without an "act of congress" so I started substituting with Viagra with no negative side affects on my LVAD and an extra pill week always helps date night BUT like all LVAD medical situations - ask your Doctor or LVAD Coordinator
