I am planning on attending a college football game in a few weeks. Is it safe for me to allow security to use the wand in order to pass through the entrance gate? Is it safe for me to walk through the security detection portals? Certainly appreciate hearing from anyone familiar with this situation.

Wondering about sleeping with batteries if an electrical outlet is not available or reachable to connect the charging station when traveling? I am practically wondering how the control unit would be charged overnight if it is not plugged in?

Hi I was wondering has there been anyone who has traveled/flown since they have had thier l.v.a.d? And if so how did you do it with your equipment ( wall power,battery backups, dressing kits,etc )did you put that in your carry on or stow it underneath. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How do you handle sporting events with a metal detector? I wouldn’t expect the attendants to know anything about LVADs or to be amenable to a letter about LVADs. Thoughts or experiences? Many thanks.
