I AM TRULY BLESSED

I have been an LVAD patient since Feb. 1, 2010 and can truly say I have been blessed. It started when I was referred to Mayo for a consolation but while waiting to be called by a doctor while sitting in the waiting room I passed out and was taken right away to the emergency room. I had my surgery on February 1st. Five days later (on my birthday) I opened my eyes and was in the hospital for one month. I did have some issues but as of today I am doing fine and I continue to do things I can do and like to do. I travel back east for a couple months, have my own car and go when I want to go. I can happily say that Mayo is a wonderful hospital with wonderful doctors and nurses. After my monthly appointment I leave there happy. I AM TRULY BLESSED.
