Respiratory secretions

My husband received his LVAD Oct 2016 and although there’s been lots of highs and lows - we are grateful for the time he’s gained and still gaining ! However he has a lot of phlegm (sorry) and respiratory secretions that are getting worse . Has anybody else experienced these symptoms, he’s kind of ok otherwise

Respiratory congestion is something to be reported to his LVAD Coordinator and to be checked out by his physicians immediately.  Of course there are a multitude of explanations for his symptoms, but they definitely need to be checked out by professionals a.s.a.p.
