Heartmate 3

Hi, my husband passed 10/8/20 he received his Vad 2/20.  I have all his equipment extra batteries, wall unit,,bags, vest, book, battery charger, drive line bandages n ect. Would like it to go to someone that can use it. Thx

We are willing to pay shipping cost through FedEx.  If you box them they will pickup and deliver to me. My father passed away in October.  Its still hard for me to believe he's really gone. He received his Lvad nov 2018. He had a heart mate 3. I still have his batteries and charger.  Before I throw it away I wanted to see if anyone could use them.

We just received our eight (8) new batteries and are charging them.  How do I dispose of the eight old batteries?  Thanking you in advance.

My LVAD hospital said they would take our old batteries, as they can dispose of them properly.

You can consider keeping them for backups.

Rather than dispose of them, Darla and I could use the backups as we haven't replaced ours as yet.  

Let me know if you might consider my having UPS pick up?

I have had my LVAD, Heartmate 3,  since October 2019. I didn't realize the batteries would need to be replaced so soon. Mine were checked out in September. How did you know to replace them and did your insurance cover the cost? Just curious for the future. Thank you!

I received my HeartMate 3 LVAD late October 2020. My surgery was at a hospital 5 hours away from my home and have to regularly visit for checkups. I usually stay at my sons place who lives close to the City where the hospital is, therefore I have to pack up all batteries, charger and power supply for every trip. 
Looking for anyone who has a HeartMate 3 charger, batteries and or power supply that they would be willing to part with. Willing to pay for all shipping costs to a residence in Canada.

I lost my husband of 42 years October 17th.  He had an LVAD since March 2 2018.  I have his equipment I would like to find a good home for.  Attached is a picture for your reference. I am very interested in your husbands equipment if you still have it. I am willing to pay all shipping costs to send it to my address in Canada. Even though I have a HeartMate 3, your equipment is the same. I did check with my LVAD team about it. 
Their only concern was for you and whether you had to bring the equipment back to the hospital?
