My LVAD gave me life

I received my LVAD on June 3, 2011 at Strong Memorial Hospital (University of Rochester Medical Center), Rochester, NY. Dr. H. Todd Massey was my surgeon. Simply put, I am alive due to my LVAD. Yes, there are life-style changes, but well worth it if you wish to be among the living. My wife and have travelled, and hope to continue to travel a lot with the LVAD, even a cruise or two. I have a mesh vest received from Thoratec, but also, I have purchased several Bosco VAD Vests - play golf in one of them.
