Are these sensations normal when the velocity of the pump is increased?
Thu, 09/04/2014 - 12:25AMMy sister in Italy can't turn her pump speed up becuase she experiences:
-Pressure headaches
-Oppresive feelings behind the sternum
-Nausea
-Blacking out feeling
She has to lay down to combat these feelings. She hasn't been able to be active because of this. Catch 22 situation. Turn up speed and she doesn't feel well. Are these normal signs when speed is turned up? I live in Hawaii and really can't help her at all except through this site. Because of a small stroke, she can't use the computer...she really has no caregiver per se. No support groups in Italy either.
I would really appreciate some feedback. She was implanted December 2012 with a jarvick 2000. Driveline comes out of the right side of her head.
