New Beginnings with my LVAD

My dearest friend Liz just began her journey of living . Her LVAD surgery was just done this past Thursday. She suffered from congestive heart failure and was at 25% when then decided it was time for the heart pump. These past several days she has been so out of it as her body and mind go through this shock to the system. Today she was agitated and confused, but I know that this medication and pain that is stirring this all up. My question to any caregiver what are some of the top three things I can provide to her. I can't see her everyday. I felt she needed to have home health support when she is released to go home. Her husband isn't well either. So they are both in a stressful place. Any suggestion would be so appreciated. I hope I can submit my questions and concerns from time to time with you all. Just so very scared for her at this time, but I know she will get through it.
