LVAD & dialysis
Sun, 02/12/2017 - 11:37AMDoes anyone have experience with LVAD & dialysis? My husband had to have right kidney removed in AUGUST of 2016 due to tumor. LVAD placement was 11/30. His left kidney, as expected, took a huge hit. He is currently on dialysis 3 days/ week at Hershey Medical Center. It makes him weak & has stalled progression. We are looking into home dialysis to spread treatments out in hopes it will decrease side effects. Just very frustrating.
