I was a 4.19 handicap and got the lvad in july, how long till i can play again? so far its saved my life, but still recuperating and endurance is not stellar. Any advice
Had the implant in June 2013. Started playing again in August. Batteries last 10-14 hours so playing time not a problem. I brief fellow players with emergency info just in case there is a problem. Walk as much I want. I find cargo pants/shorts work well as I can put the batteries in the pockets, controller around the waist in the belly pouch and everything is out of the and comfortable. Have shot my lowest scores since coming back. Handicap went up to 13 and now back to 8.6. Good luck. Hit em straight !
