I have had a Heartmate II since June 0f 2010. Other than continued weakness in my leges, I have done well. Recently, however, I have had several episodes of Ventricular Tachycardia. As I read on the web, it is not totally uncommon to VAD patients. I'm wondering if anyone has experienced this. I pass out when my heart goes into a bad rhythm and am very fearful of falls. I take amniodorone. They are cutting down my lisinopril but do not want to give me more than 200 mg amniodorone. I'm wondering if others have experienced this and how you were treated. I had VTAC prior to the Vad, but until recently it was under control. I do have an implanted pacemaker/defibrilator. Thanks for suggestions or advice.
